We here at Forest Grove Fire and Rescue are proud to announce that we are now offering monthly
child safety seat clinics. Our car seat safety technicians will be on hand to help people understand
how to properly install their car seats and help keep your precious little ones riding in them safely.
These clinics are open to the public and will run monthly on the last calendar Wednesday of each
month from 3 to 5 pm. For questions you can email the Car Seat Program Coordinator, or contact
the fire station at 503.992.3240.
Car crashes are not always preventable but the injuries sometimes are, this information will
hopefully help prevent what can be tragic from occurring.
If you or someone you know needs this service we hope to see you there!

seat was installed correctly you know that this is something that you want to get
right.
According to national statistics nearly 85% of all car seats are installed incorrectly,
this is something that we want to correct. Improper installation can lead to possible
injuries in the event of an accident.

Currently our Friends and Family CPR, Chimney Brush Rental Program, and our Car Seat Clinics are free of
charge. It is our intent to offer these programs free of charge to the community. As with all programs there is
always maintenance and upkeep involved. If you have participated in any of our programs and are compelled to
make a donation to our volunteer firefighter association to help maintain these programs, your donation would
be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the fire station during regular business hours Monday - Friday
8am to 5 pm.
